Nordic sound artist from finland

Waskivaara is a Finnish sound artist working with voice, sound, and moving image.

Her work focuses on raw voice as a physical and expressive medium, moving between older vocal material and contemporary forms.

She has performed at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki and her work has been featured in Hufvudstadsbladet and Västra Nyland. She collaborates with musician Meriheini Luoto and appears on a 2026 Emma Award–nominated album in the classical category.

Her work has been exhibited at Onoma, Fiskars.

She holds a Master’s degree in Music from the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki.

Waskivaara works under an artist name and has previously been credited as Tiina Louneva and Tiina Vaskivaara.
